Videos: Why Do You Like the Mark Twain Elmira Conference?

A video in two parts, with Mark Twain scholars answering the question, “Why do you like the Mark Twain Elmira Conference?” A tribute to Barbara Snedecor and her staff at the Center For Mark Twain Studies, Elmira College, and some nice memories of the Seventh International Conference on the State of Mark Twain Studies, August 2013.

I have a new play on Mark Twain, something a bit different. It’s formally structured as one of his lectures, except that the great humorist is constantly being interrupted by his own characters. It covers many subjects relevant to today, and also little-known and under-exposed.

It’s called Mark Twain, In and Out of Character. My question is would you consider having it as part of a performance at the next Elmira Cnference, which I believe is every four years. I can send a copy of the manuscript and my CV at your request. I’m an award-winning humor writer, who’s been published in U.S, Canada, England, Australia, Italy and Mexico.

    Thank you for your consideration.
